You guys know I’m not a cook, right? I can bake, and desserts are my calling, throw a full-on party, with canapes, and Mocktails and pasta, and whatnot….. but cooking, that drains the life out of me. So cooking has to be simple and quick.

And when I find one quick and easy recipe that the kids enjoy- I’m sure as hell going to be sharing it with you. If my life is going to be easy. So is yours! We are in this together!

So let me tell you a little about this super quick and easy garlic prawn recipe.

So quick and easy, I’ll make it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or maybe we will just grab a takeout. Maybe. Just.

Garlic Prawn Recipe

What you need

  • Noodles (readymade is better *big wink*)
  • Prawns (clean and devined *don’t give me the evil eye*)
  • Oil
  • Sesame Oil
  • Knob of Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic chopped
  • Spring onions chopped
  • Chilli Flakes
  • Brown Suger
  • Soy Sauce
  • Parmesean Cheese

And here’s what to do with it all

Boil your Noodles according to the packet instructions or if they are ready, evan better!

In a Pan, add the 2 oils (I just like it to cover the bottom of the pan) and the butter.

Once hot, chuck in your prawns with salt and pepper, and fry until cooked.

Once cooked, add in your garlic, spring onions, chilli flakes, brown sugar, soy sauce  and brown sugar.

Did you ask for measurements? I can’t help you here, I am a chuck it all in person.

Now add in your cooked noodles and allow the sauce to thicken. It’ll go a little sticky! Yum.

And then, if you’re going to take  a picture for the gram, add some spring onions and parmesean cheese on top  (just being real here!) and take that pic.

Voila! It’s ready, and yum.

Give it a try and tell me all about it
