I’m still not done with Budapest, I’m literally going back and forth at the moment. On the blog post not to Budapest (I wish). My blogs are feeling a little like my head at the moment, racing in real time to keep up to date, and winding down and reminiscing on what has already been done.
I promised you guys on Instagram on my review on the Hotel, and I know its nearly coming up to a year! (how??!!!. Just how) but I’m getting on with it right now. As promised. Better Late than never.
Because Budapest was a ‘on the whim’ decision, like literally it was not even on my bucket list, I don’t know how it entered my head, but its been ticked off now I guess. And the hubby said ‘Yes’ straight away. (which is a rare occurrence) I had a lot of research to do before we went.
Flights booked in- now to find a spot to stay.

I opted for the Kempinski Budapest Hotel, with great reviews on Google, it was within the budget and seemed fitting. So the question is was it and why?
Was it and Why?
Location
In the Pest area of Budapest, this hotel is near the major Attraction, facing the Budapest eye, and all a walk away from the major attraction like Chain Bridge, Parliament Buildings, St Stephens Basilica, as well as the shopping and dining areas.
Whether you’re interested in historical tours, vibrant nightlife, or gourmet dining, everything you need is within walking distance.

Accommodation
We opted for a Standard Double room and it was gorgeous. Elegant design, modern comforts, stylish decor, plush bedding, and a beautiful view of the stunning city. What more could you want?

Dining
The Kempinski Budapest has renowned restaurant’s all within its complex, like Japanese inspired Nobu and Es Bisztro. As well as lounges and bars to wind down those aching legs after a long trip of exploring. This trip was with the hubby and therefore I had to find the ‘halal’ spots and a few were found within few minutes walk.

Spa
The Spa was beautiful!!! insanely beautiful! with indoor pool, fitness centre, and range of treatments at an additional price. The perfect way to unwind and recharge.

Service
Some of the most friendliest staff around, always happy to help. Good staff always make the trip more enjoyable.

Atmosphere
The hotel itself is huge! I don’t think we even covered a lot of it. Every corner we turned their was more. luxury and sophistication oozed in every corner. with lounges, bars, business rooms, all in its modern sophisticated design. We loved walking in and just sitting in reception to catch our breath before heading out again

So the question now remains
Would I go again to Kempinski Budapest?
Reality Yes! I would choose this hotel over and over again (apart from maybe the Ritz which was next door, and triple the price!) It was perfect for us, and I loved the location.

I mean a good hotel changes a trip from enjoyable to unforgettable and with the Kempinski Budapest, I really did feel that way.
