Boots came out with their own skincare brand called ‘Glow’ during the Lock Down (April 2020).
Being Affordable and Pink and a Boots brand- it had amazing reviews- and I did in all of 3 seconds want to buy the whole lot.
But I got my self control in check and stopped myself after opening my stash of unused skincare.
I tried to avoid it as much as possible by convincing myself that I was Fed up of seeing all skincare brands using the same signature pale pink colour for their branding.
A couple of months later Boots introduced the ‘Glow’ Pineapple range.
In bright yellow and I instantly needed to try it out. (Sound strange right? yep. That’s me and my mood swings. Yellow over pink any day)
Starting at £4 a product, it doesn’t exactly break the bank balance I took all 3 products to give them a try.
What it Promises.
- Moisturising, anti ageing and even’s out skin tones. (3 big fat ticks for me)
- All product have Niacinamide – which is responsible for the glow aspect.
- Pineapple, which is a boost of Vitamin C.
Called the ‘Pineapple Range’ because of the Pineapple extracts, It delivers a subtle Pineapple scent. The sweet Pineapple scent reminded me of an exotic island. A Pina Colada in my hand and the waves of the sea. Bliss
From the Glow range, their are only three products in the Pineapple and they are :
- Boots Glow Pineapple Gel Moisturiser
- Boots Glow Pineapple Serum
- Boots Glow Pineapple Sleep Mask
Why the Boots Glow Pineapple Sleep Mask?
I tried all three products, but the boots Glow Pineapple Sleep Mask was by far the best and the one I would definitely pick up again.
Its thick and creamy in texture, I loved lathering it in on my face- being an overnight cream- I prefer them to be thick and heavy, it makes it feel more moisturising.
I use the Boots Glow Pineapple Sleep mask as my last stage of skincare.
After toning, I usually like to lather into a thick moisturiser and this provides me with the consistency that I need.
In a morning I love the feel of my skin, its supple, it feels silky soft and has a slight vibrant glow. Hydrated and moisturised. There are no dry crack-y areas.
The moisturiser still feels as though its doing its work in the morning.
