Elegance and Indulgence. Two words that pop straight into the head when it comes to the Corinthia in London.

Afternoon Tea at Corinthia takes place in the Crystal Moon Lounge, with neck breaking high ceilings, grand chandeliers, opulent furnishings. All of which gives it its well deserved Grandeur.

Neutral warm tones, the deep brown of the wooden tables, and the hints of gold scattered across make it a welcoming and sophisticated space.

A live pianist draws out soft tones for the  extra special atmosphere.

A clash of Contemporary and Classic.

Corinthia is located in the heart of London.

A luxurious hotel with luxurious settings, perfect for the luxurious English past time of Afternoon Tea.

Afternoon tea at Corinthia London

Afternoon tea starts with a pop of bubbly.

Knowing our dietary requirements we were offered non-alcoholic wine. Fusions of rose, it was an absolute treat and delight.

Whilst our tea was being prepared, we enjoyed our rose in these gorgeous champagne glasses. Cut from the same glass as the chandelier that falls from the ceiling. Luxury ebbed from the champagne glasses. If only I had a manicure before- it would have been picture perfect.

At Corinthia London you can expect a selection of finely brewed teas, from classic black teas to herbal infusions and speciality blends.

After a cold day and freezing hands and toes, I had to opt for an English breakfast.

Next comes a variety of finger sandwiches. Served in crockery from Richard Brendon. I mean talk about a higher state of Opulence.

We were given a plate and it consisted of coronation chicken, tomato and hummus, 3 cheese and cucumber and cheese. These were on call, so they could be topped up atany time.

The sandwiches were delectable

Jam on Top Folks!

Freshly baked warm scones are then served with Clotted Cream and preserves. It’s my favourite part of the day.

The scones were warm, light, and buttery. Pure perfection.

And lastly, an assortment of delectable pastries and cakes, all set up on an absolutely beautiful floor standing cake stand, which I really wanted to take home with me.

Each and every dessert was not only a delight to look at but perfect in taste, too!

Everything that was presented to us was not only pretty to look at, but absolutely delicious to the taste. And the staff looked after us from beginning to end. A 100/10 for the hospitality.
